Scroll & Ink Press is dedicated to setting children on a course to becoming lifelong readers. Our mission is to publish quality chapter books for young readers that respect every child’s innate sense of adventure, intelligence, and imagination. Scroll & Ink Press seeks to foster a love of books, increase literacy, and provide a platform for artistic interaction.

ABOUT

When Russell Carmony’s nephew was very young, he wanted to hear long and exciting stories at night before going to sleep. Russell improvised tales on the spot, but he soon realized that in order to make the stories lengthy and engaging enough, he had to start jotting them down ahead of time.

The stories later expanded into chapter books, and Russell teamed up with Lindsey Cash to form an independent publishing venture. Lindsey is a lifelong reader with lasting memories of the books she read as a child and shaped her as an adult.

Scroll & Ink Press was born as the vehicle for the Raven Song Adventure Series. Lindsey serves as Editor-In-Chief and Russell writes the stories under the pen name Lougash T. Shaw.

Scroll & Ink’s mission is to present children’s literature that speaks to young readers’ imagination, intelligence, sense of adventure, and bravery.
